The most noticeable is a small spot on the front about the size of a nickel (pictured) if you can live with that everything else is miniscule

This is one of those vintage coats that is very understated at first glance but the more you look at it the more you are in awe of the fine workmanship and attention to the small details

I love how the design becomes denser as it nears the hem and on the sleeves - this cleverly draws the eye and creates a long

The technique used to make this has been done for a very very long time and is still done today but not to the same degree and quality of the pieces done in the twenties. You will often see shawls from this period and the occasional dress, but to find a coat, original from the period is almost unheard of! And it is not a coat assembled from a shawl many of the "original" assuit garments
