A stoloniferous plant with green to reddish leaves and a panicle of tiny yellowish berries. In bloom it looks like a bouquet of babys breath in a tiny bud vase. A rarity in collections, takes well to ordinary bromeliad care, potted or mounted. Suitable for terrariums where the tubular shape is well suited to tree frogs.
