Victorian Elm Station Chair, c.1850 Dominoes Set bridges and riversOur Stock # 10. 1420 This is an antique, Victorian station chair dating to c. 1850. The characteristic swirling grain pattern of the elm radiates through the aged patina in this interesting and sturdy side chair. Raised on ring turned front legs and swept, square section rear legs united by a strong 'A' stretcher, of particular interest are the through joints featuring split tenons. Additional strength is gained from the well executed. later, iron
